FAQ
-
Do I need any experience with clay?
Not at all. All workshops and retreats are designed for beginners as well as anyone curious to explore clay. I’ll guide you through each step, from shaping to finishing.
-
What do I need to bring?
Bring yourself and an open mind. Everything will be provided at the event. Since we are hand-building, the mess will be controlled so loose clothing, though not required, is encouraged for your comfort. The aim for the evening is to relax, unwind, and connect. Phones are suggested to be silenced.
-
What happens to the pieces we make?
After the session, I’ll glaze and fire your work in my studio to make it food-safe and durable. You can pick up your finished pieces once they’re ready (usually in 3–4 weeks).
-
Can you host a private group or company event?
Yes! I offer custom sessions for birthdays, team gatherings, brand experiences and many more happenings. Each event can be tailored to your group size, theme, and preferences. You can explore it on the Company & Brand Experiences or write me directly.
-
Can I order a custom ceramic piece?
Absolutely. I love creating bespoke pieces for individuals, restaurants, and brands. You can share your idea through the form, and I’ll get back to you with a design proposal and quote.
-
Can I host a retreat with you at my hotel or venue?
Yes, I collaborate with hotels, creative spaces, and nature retreats to host Gigi Room experiences. If you’d like to co-create one together, please reach out through the Retreats page or contact form.
-
Where are you based?
I’m currently based in Munich, Germany, where I host workshops. Retreats and special events happen across different locations (so far in different cities in Germany, Italy, Turkiye).

What is your cancellation policy?
Each workshop is prepared with so much care, from materials and firing schedules to the cozy atmosphere we create for the group. Because spots are limited and everything is planned in advance, cancellations aren’t possible.
However, life happens, if something unexpected comes up, you’re always welcome to reschedule your spot and join a future workshop or event instead. Just reach out as soon as possible, and we’ll find a new date that works for you.
